The Harry Ferguson Celebration Committee will hold their Charity Tractor Road Run on Friday night 18th August

The Harry Ferguson Celebration Committee will hold their Charity Tractor Road Run on Friday night 18th August. All makes of tractor welcome and to include Classic cars The proceeds of this event will be handed over to` Tiny life` CHILDRENS CHARITY NI.  This  worthy local cause  is one that we are very much aware of and funds raised on the night should help bring about help and support to the parents who need most. Last year we had almost 100 tractors on the route and we hope to repeat again on the 18th August. The route chosen has been changed from last year and it reads as follows; Starting/assembly point as usual Ballykeel Baptist Church car park leaving at 7.30pm sharp. NOTE !   WE ARE NOT PASSING THE MEMORIAL GARDEN THIS YEAR. Route is as follows:  from assembly point we take the Howe Rd and turn left into Springmount Rd, at end we turn right into Artana Rd. At crossroads we turn left into Banbridge Rd and then left into Dromore Rd Dromara. Then we turn right at crossroads into Croft Rd and at end turn left into Hillsboro Rd Dromara to return to Ballykeel church car park. . On return to car park all tractor drivers will receive  BBQ food and soft drink and this facility is also available to the spectators, we have no charge to attend this event but we hope you will support the charity chosen whether food is taken or not. We the committee thank all entries and spectators who support us and charities each and every year, super nights entertainment and where better to do it but Ferguson country close to Growell. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused on the public roads but we purposely keep off main routes as much as possible. PSNI and marshalls will be in place to assist traffic.
