Lisburn & Castlereagh’s Arts & Culture scene has been going from strength to strength throughout the past number of years. Musicians, actors and award winning artists represent the local Arts scene across every medium.

We’ve endeavoured, through this blog-spot,  to shine a spotlight on our local talent, highlight how progressive the movement has been and create a greater awareness of what’s going on in our area.

Neil Shawcross is a local artist hailing from Bolton, though living in Northern Ireland. His work is known worldwide, gaining influence from experience in the United Kingdom, Ireland and America. He moved to Northern Ireland in the 1960s to pursue a career in lecturing.
