This special February event will showcase a selection of videos from 13 diverse community organisations who have engaged with the Northern Ireland Now Project, selecting videos to be a part of a new collection on the Digital Film Archive.

Following a compilation of video materials there will be a panel discussion with community partners on their experiences of the project.

Northern Ireland Now is a contemporary collecting project in partnership with Northern Ireland Screen which addresses underrepresentation in the Digital Film Archive and champions equality, diversity and inclusion.

Selected video works from the following community organisation will be screened:

1. Hilltown Community Association, County Down
2: ImageNation NI, Belfast
3. Selkies Women’s Sea Shanty, Portaferry
4: Strule Arts Centre Collective, Omagh
5: Anaka Women’s Collective, Belfast
6: SPUDS, Drumcree Community Centre, Portadown
7: North West Creatives, Nerve Centre, Derry City
8: Express Yourself Social Cafe, Black Box, Belfast
9: Bluebell Lane, South Armagh
10: BeU LGBTQIA+, Belfast
11: Moneydarragh Hub, County Down
12: Wall2Wall with Springboard Opportunities, Belfast
13. Yallaa Cafe, Belfast
