With the release of a new album ‘Leaving It All Behind’ and autobiography ‘In My Own Words’, Sandy Kelly comes to Lisburn as part of her all-Ireland tour.
Sandy’s star-studded career included an invitation from Johnny Cash to come to Nashville. She recorded and toured with a host of legendary U.S. country artists including Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Glen Campbell, Tammy Wynette, George Hamilton IV and Chet Atkins; and her repertoire includes multiple gold records, including hit duet ‘Woodcarver’ with Johnny Cash and her version of Willie Nelson’s ‘Crazy’.
Accompanied by a full live band, Sandy will perform songs from ‘Leaving It All Behind’ (recorded at Johnny Cash’s studio in Nashville and produced by five time Grammy Award winning producer, John Carter Cash), along with some of her best loved hits, and stories from her book.
