Something Old, Something New … Highlights from the collection, 2017-2024
This exhibition brings together a selection of recently purchased or generously donated objects from the museum’s extensive collection. Many of these items are on display in the museum for the first time and were collected between 2017 and 2024.
Since its foundation in 1979, the museum has collected artefacts that are relevant to the lives and interests of the people of Lisburn and the wider Lagan Valley. Our role as a museum is to both safeguard this collection and make them accessible.
