Situated in the heart of Dundonald, the Moat Park offers idyllic walks around the historic Motte as well as provides a valuable link to shops in the village. Moat Park is a green oasis within the expanding townland of Dundonald. The park has a Wildlife Garden which has been created to attract a greater variety of plants and animals into the park by creating important micro-habitats where they can thrive.
Castle Gardens is the most historically significant open space in Lisburn and was once the site of Lisburn Castle, a 17th century fortified manor house, built by the Conway family - the landlords of Lisburn. Castle Gardens is a green oasis within the heart of Lisburn. The formal gardens are perfect for a relaxing walk or to sit and eat a packed lunch on your lunch break or a picnic with all the family and connect with nature.
Moira Demesne is located in the picturesque village of Moira. It is situated off the Main Street and is a popular landmark, providing a quiet escape from the busy village. The Park is comprised of over 40 acres of parkland and offers areas of amenity grassland which incorporates beautiful walkways and picnic sites for everyone to enjoy the great outdoors.
