Laganvale Farm is located in the beautiful Lagan Valley Regional Park, just outside Lisburn. Laganvale is a family farm combining indoor play and outdoor fun, with traditional farm animals, an indoor play area and the Linen Tearooms. Warmly greeted by our friendly alpaca trekking guides, you will be introduced to your very own alpaca companion.
Under the guidance of your expert handler, embark on our distinctive trail, which typically spans around 30 to 40 minutes. Towards the end of the trail, your guide will ensure the alpacas are securely tied up, while you venture forth to the island oasis housing the coffee trailer and inviting picnic tables, offering an array of refreshments and snacks for purchase.
For a truly indulgent experience during lunchtime slots, you have the option to pre-purchase a luxurious picnic hamper.

A state-of-the-art woodland-themed outdoor children's play area situated in the heart of the beautiful Hillsborough Forest. This play park has a wide variety of equipment for all ages and abilities. It also has a picnic area and toilet facilities. Why not take the kids for a stroll around our Digital Sculpture trail then stop off and let the kiddos enjoy the play area!
Guess How Much I Love You Public Art & Literature Trail
Author and lifelong Lisburn resident, Sam McBratney wrote the international bestseller Guess How Much I Love You in 1994. The heart-warming story went on to sell more than 55 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 57 languages. The new Guess How Much I Love You Public Art and Literature Trail is free for the public to enjoy. It can be accessed via a digital App or followed on a map collected from the local Visitor Information Centre in Lisburn in the Irish Linen Centre & Lisburn Museum.
One version of the trail is suitable for ‘little hares’ and another for ‘big hares’– there is something for kids of all ages to develop their observational and navigational skills.
