The Dark Walk at Hillsborough Fort from 10am-3pm.

With 50 traders lining up on The Dark Walk, you can expect to find a wide variety of delicious food and drink options. From street food to speciality coffees, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Food and drink is at the heart of Royal Hillsborough Farmers Market so you can expect to find regeneratively farmed and outdoor reared heritage meats from local farmers. Plus, fruit and vegetables, breads, cakes, Irish cheeses, jams, chutneys and pickles, olives, pesto and tapenades, charcuterie, chocolate, coffee, fresh fish, shellfish and smoked salmon.

Artisanal food stalls will feature bakers and patisserie experts Kin & Folk, slow bread experts Round House Bakery, Royal Hillsborough traditional baker Tori’s Coffee Cakes & Bakes. Tom & Ollie will be showcasing their range of deli products and cheeses.

We’ll also have stalls from local designers and artists featuring sustainable homewares, candles, organic skincare, pet treats and more!

Street Food & Entertainment

There’s nothing better than having fresh prepared street food in a market. We’ve selected a pick of the best street food trucks to offer you everything from gourmet burgers, loaded fries to wood fired pizza and tray bakes.

The kids will love doing the craft activities, getting face painting and balloon modelling.

Then grab a seat on the lawn in front of Hillsborough Fort and listen to some fantastic music from our local acoustic musicians.

Royal Hillsborough Village Sightseeing & Shopping

But the Royal Hillsborough Farmers Market isn't the only reason to make a day trip to this picturesque town. There are some great historic walks taking past Hillsborough Church and Hillsborough Fort. Or take the digital sculpture trail around Hillsborough Forest and stop off at the adventure playground with the kids.

We are also spoiled by the range of independent shops in Royal Hillsborough Village too. Clothing, art and craft, florists, jewellers, gift shops and lots of cafes and bars. We do hope that you extend your stay and see everything that Royal Hillsborough has to offer.

Treat yourself or the family to a great day out at the Royal Hillsborough Farmers Market.
