Our team is here to provide an important veterinary service to our clients. Should you and your pet need us during the Coronavirus pandemic, we’ve prepared some helpful guidelines. • Please contact us the day before your appointment on: Tel: 02892683711. We will then ring you back on the day of your appointment to ask you questions about self- isolation and any health concerns. • If you need to visit us to collect food or repeat medications, please call us first. • It may be appropriate to arrange a telephone consultation with one of our vets. • If you are advised that your pet needs to be examined at the surgery following the telephone consultation and you are are self-isolating, we will ask you to arrange for someone else to bring your pet to the surgery. • We’d be grateful if you keep to one person per pet when visiting our practice and help us by sanitising your hands on entry and when leaving.
Visit our new online shop to order any items you require from us at this time www.sberrysfamilybutchers.co.uk
Our new shop opening hours are Monday-Saturday 9.30am-4pm. During this worrying time we will only allow 2 customers into the shop at one time. Can we ask that only 1 family member comes to get your items and do not bring children with you. Please sanitise your hands or wear gloves before entering the shop, (we cannot provide sanitiser due to the limited stock available). Please use the baskets provided and come prepared with a list of items you need so your time in the shop is kept to a minimum. We can only deliver essential items at this time therefore plants, flowers or compost will not be delivered. Write down 10 things you are grateful for in life and the reasons why.
Drink lots of water and eat healthy foods. It's important to drink water to help flushing out your bladder and kidneys and boost your immune system.
Even if you are stuck indoor self isolating, fitness can still be fun. Ask around if any yoga instructors are doing online sessions. This could be your chance to try something new without the intimidation of big classes.
Why not reach out to a neighbour or friend on the phone. Life has been so busy and you've probably lost touch with people. Phone them up and talk to them. You never know, you could be building bridges just when someone needs it.
Remember when you were young, what game did you enjoy? Snakes and ladders, draughts or noughts and crosses? If you and your family are isolating, bring a bit of fun into it and lift your spirits. Get out the Monopoly board!
Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights and War and Peace. All great classics. Why not reach out for a good book, download on your kindle or even listen to it online? Anyone familiar with José Arcadio Buendía will know his famous book "One hundred years of solitude" with a title like that at a time like this, maybe it cries out to be read.
