Our team is here to provide an important veterinary service to our clients. Should you and your pet need us during the Coronavirus pandemic, we’ve prepared some helpful guidelines. • Please contact us the day before your appointment on: Tel: 02892683711. We will then contact you by telephone on the day of your appointment to ask you questions about self- isolation/any health concerns. • If you need to visit us to collect food or repeat medications, please call us first. • It may be appropriate to arrange a telephone consult with one of our vets. Our telephone consultations are available by appointment. Payment is easy and can be arranged over the phone when booking your appointment. • You may be advised that your pet needs to be examined at the surgery following the telephone consultation. • If you are self-isolating we will ask you to arrange for someone else to bring your pet to the surgery. The veterinary surgeon will be happy to speak to you by telephone before and after the consultation. • To protect you and our veterinary team, we ask that you also call us on arrival so that we can ask you some questions before entering. You may be asked to remain outside whilst your pet is examined and treated. • We’d be grateful if you keep to one person per pet when visiting our practice and help us by sanitising your hands on entry and when leaving. We take the well-being of our clients, their pets and our practice colleagues seriously and thank you for your co-operation and understanding at this time. We will keep you updated.
Style Gallery’s doors remain open with a few necessary changes… 1) We are well and truly open for business - as a family business and young mouths to feed, we appreciate your support during these challenging times. 2) We are operating on a reduced staff. 3) We'd love to shake your hand and we'll look forward to that once we’re out the other side of this! (We might even hug it out) 4) We are carrying out regular cleans - paying particular attention to touch-points such as door handles, card machines and snooker cues 5) We’d ask you all to wash your hands as you arrive and as you leave. 6) Where possible, shop with your eyes, unless of course you’d like to try on, lets just try and minimize touching…. 7) Our website is constantly being updated with our new stock which is arriving daily so keep an eye out on our website if you see something you fancy but are self isolating and live locally we can deliver- or post! 9) It’s a big shop! Plenty of room for social distancing and always plenty of craic Take Care and stay safe Aaron xx
Write down 10 things you are grateful for in life and the reasons why.
Drink lots of water and eat healthy foods. It's important to drink water to help flushing out your bladder and kidneys and boost your immune system.
Even if you are stuck indoor self isolating, fitness can still be fun. Ask around if any yoga instructors are doing online sessions. This could be your chance to try something new without the intimidation of big classes.
Why not reach out to a neighbour or friend on the phone. Life has been so busy and you've probably lost touch with people. Phone them up and talk to them. You never know, you could be building bridges just when someone needs it.
Remember when you were young, what game did you enjoy? Snakes and ladders, draughts or noughts and crosses? If you and your family are isolating, bring a bit of fun into it and lift your spirits. Get out the Monopoly board!
Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights and War and Peace. All great classics. Why not reach out for a good book, download on your kindle or even listen to it online? Anyone familiar with José Arcadio Buendía will know his famous book "One hundred years of solitude" with a title like that at a time like this, maybe it cries out to be read.
