About
At High Rise it is always our aim to be inclusive and accessible at all times for our guests but we know that sometimes just a few small adjustments can make all the difference.
High Rise can sometimes be busy and noisy, so every Sunday morning we run Inclusion Zone Clip ‘n Climb and soft play sessions to support guests with additional needs (such as Autism, Down’s Syndrome, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorders) and their families.
What’s different during the Inclusion Zone sessions?
- Smaller sessions, fewer people in the Clip ‘n Climb and soft play areas
- 1 hour activity sessions
- No music playing in the centre
- Shorter safety briefing
- Soft play age increased to 12 years old (siblings welcome)
- Staff specially trained by Autism NI and Guide Dogs NI
- Clip ‘n Climb reduced to £10 and soft play £4
As always, our instructors are available to provide support and encouragement throughout the sessions.
Clip 'n Climb is suitable for those aged 4+. Adults may book to climb and enjoy the activity with their children or, if they need to accompany a child with support needs (free of charge), they will be given a high-vis jacket to wear in the climbing arena and will be required to store their belongings securely in a free locker.
Should you require, we have noise cancelling headphones available at reception to borrow or you are welcome to bring your own.
There is a Changing Places toilet facility available within High Rise.
Should you require any additional support during your visit please do not hesitate to let a member of staff know.
*Please note that the Leap of Faith is not available during Inclusion Zone sessions.
Pre-booking is strongly advised for these events sessions as they often sell out in advance – www.highriseni.org
